Data Deletion Instructions

If you connected your Instagram account to the Giraldo Agency Client Portal, or uploaded content through it, this page explains how to delete your data.

Quick option: revoke access from Meta

The fastest way to cut off access is to revoke it directly from your Instagram or Facebook account:

  • Open Instagram or Facebook → Settings → Apps and Websites (or "Active apps and websites").
  • Find "Giraldo Agency" in the list and select "Remove" or "Remove access".
  • This immediately invalidates the access token we used to publish on your behalf. We can no longer publish anything to your account after this step.

Request full data deletion

To also have us delete your content, history, and connection record from our database, email us:

  • To: support@giraldoagency.com
  • Subject: "Data Deletion Request"
  • Include: your name, the email you use to sign in to the Client Portal, and your Instagram username (if you connected an account).

What We Delete

Once we receive your request, we permanently delete, within 30 days:

  • Your Instagram connection record (user ID, username, and stored access token).
  • The content you uploaded to the Client Portal (images, videos, captions) and its review history.
  • Your Client Portal user account.

What We Don't Delete Automatically

Posts already published to your Instagram account remain there — deleting them is your call, managed directly from Instagram. We also don't delete records we're legally required to retain (for example, for accounting or tax purposes).

Confirmation

Once deletion is complete, we'll send a confirmation email to the address you wrote to us from.
